Facebook users were amazed to see the reach of their recently published updates, as they accessed their Facebook accounts via the Facebook mobile site. Due to a glitch, that has been removed now, Facebook displayed the view counts for your own and others' posts throughout the social network. The bug was reported by several people on Twitter on October 14, 2015 who started noticing view counts next to their posts. These analytics can be viewed next to the like button, where you see it if you manage a page for an organization, brand or personality.
The bug only affected Facebook’s mobile site, and not the company’s official mobile apps or Facebook for desktop. Facebook has confirmed the bug to The Verge and said it is working to fix the issue and remove the view counts from user posts. People using the Social Media site often express their concerns that their shared content is going into black box. In fact, according the reports shared by the Standford University study by Michael S. Bernstein and Facebook’s data science team in 2013 came out with the finding that the average Facebook users only reached about 35% of their friends each time they published an update.
